HDDC’s 40,000 SF contemporary, boutique showroom is a marriage of artisan craftsmanship and modern architecture. The design brief mandated integrating the home into a gallery-like setting to encourage familiarity for visitors. This led us to investigate how users use their space at home and how we could best replicate this in the showroom while still showcasing multiple pieces. We carefully worked with fixture manufacturers to design each fixture to best fit the user, and the space, and display the piece. The concept and design were also driven by a collaboration with trade partners supplying millwork, interior finishes, and products.
